Community Volunteer Group

The Higher Kinnerton Community volunteer group was established January 2019 and is led by Ian Fleming.
For those in our community who may not be aware, the community volunteer group exists to tackle a variety of issues around the village and is mobilised (sounds like we’re an army!) by WhatsApp chat HKVG.
Tasks carried out around our village are varied and include maintaining village planters and borders, clearing ditches, hedge laying and clearing overgrown/fallen trees on bridle paths, sign cleaning, community orchard maintenance, Scout HQ hedges and car park. Any group member can propose a task they think requires doing. Other group members able to support, turn up to help at the date/time advised on group. As they say, ‘many hands make light work’.
We also have a couple of village litter picks a year (pickers, gloves and bags provided, along with logo marked hi viz tabards if required).
Please contact Ian Fleming on 07734 218738 if you are interested in improving our community, enjoy social banter and would like to be added to the group.
